Chris Miller,
Builder
Builder
Chris Miller is the kind of builder who learned the trade the old-school way—by growing up around it, putting in the time, and earning his reputation job by job. Raised in Trenton, Ohio, Chris understands Midwestern values: show up, do what you say you’re going to do, and don’t cut corners.
Chris’ construction experience started early—at just 14 years old—working for SK Construction in Middletown, Ohio. What began as summer work quickly became a long-term education in building, craftsmanship, and accountability. Chris continued working with SK Construction throughout his high school years and every summer during college, gaining hands-on, real-world experience long before most people step onto their first job site.
After graduating from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia, Chris transitioned into media and communications, going to work for Jacor Communications in radio. He worked with some of the region’s most recognizable stations, including WLW, WSAI, and WOFX, where he learned the art of negotiation, deadlines, and execution in fast-paced, high-pressure environments. From radio, Chris moved into the advertising world, working for an agency before launching his own—an agency he still owns today.
That time in media and advertising sharpened skills most builders never develop: negotiating smart deals, coordinating multiple stakeholders, executing complex plans, and getting things done without excuses. Combined with more than two decades of hands-on construction experience, it gives Chris a rare edge—he doesn’t just know how to build homes, he knows how to run projects, manage budgets, and deliver results. That blend of craftsmanship and business discipline is exactly what clients experience when they work with Chris Miller.

Our Partners
At Timberhill Homes, great houses aren’t built by chance—they’re built by people who know, trust, and respect each other. That’s why Timberhill has long-standing relationships with a core group of subcontractors they’ve worked with on project after project, year after year, for decades. These aren’t random crews pulled from a list. They’re proven professionals who understand Timberhill’s standards, expectations, and zero-tolerance policy for sloppy work.
Because these subcontractors have been part of so many Timberhill Homes projects, there’s a level of consistency and accountability you simply don’t get with revolving crews. Everyone knows the details matter. Everyone knows the job has to be done right the first time. That familiarity translates directly into tighter schedules, cleaner job sites, better communication, and higher-quality finishes—no finger-pointing, no excuses.
Just as important, Timberhill Homes treats its subcontractors like partners, not placeholders. Mutual respect, fair pricing, and clear communication create loyalty, and loyalty creates results. When the same trusted trades show up build after build, clients benefit from craftsmanship that’s dialed in, timelines that stay on track, and homes that reflect decades of collective experience. In short, Timberhill Homes doesn’t just build houses—it builds strong teams, and that shows in every finished home.
